Today we will discuss the roasted cabbage steaks with the garlic breadcrumbs. The ingredients for the recipe are as follow :  cabbage, olive oil, soya sauce, lemon juice, paprika, honey, salt, black pepper, garlic, breadcrumbs, pepper flakes and parsley.

Steps to Make Roasted Cabbage Steaks with Garlic Breadcrumbs

 

Step 1: preheat eh oven

       Line the baking sheet in the oven and preheat it to 400F.

Step 2: prepare the cabbage

     Peel the outer leaves from the cabbage. Place it on the cutting board and cut the cabbage in the rings. Cut the slice into 1 inch size. Handle with care so that they may not fall apart. Now place the cabbage steaks on the baking sheet.

Steps 3: Make the sauce

Take a bowl and add the olive oil, honey, paprika, soya sauce and lemon juice and whisk it well the help of the fork. Now take a brush and brush the cabbage the steaks with the sauce. Then sprinkle some black pepper and salt. You can season only one side of the cabbage steak it’s ok.

Step 4: Roast the cabbage

Now bake the cabbage steaks in the oven until it turns brown and crispy.

Step 5: Toppings

 Take a small skillet and add the olive oil in it. Then add the garlic and sauté for about 25 seconds. Now add the breadcrumbs, slat, red pepper flakes. Stir until it turns brown. Add the parsley and remove from the heat.

Step 6: Serve

Transfer the cabbage steaks to a plate and top with the garlic breadcrumbs.
