Steps to Make Fried Hot Honey Chicken

Step 1: Marinate the chicken

Take a large plastic bag, now put the chicken in it. Also, add the salt and buttermilk and close the bag. Then put this bag in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours.

Step 2: Heat the oven

Preheat the oven to 400F. put the oven rack in the center and lightly spray with the cooking spray. Then set it aside.

Step 3: prepare the breading

Now take a large bowl and add the breadcrumbs salt and flour. Also, add olive oil to it. Now mix all the things well with the help of fingers.

Step 4: Dredge the chicken

Now take out one piece of chicken at a time from the bag remove the excess marinade and dredge it in the breadcrumb. Press the breadcrumbs with your fingers.

      Now transfer this piece onto the baking sheet. Repeat the process.

Step 5: Bake the chicken

Now cook the chicken for about 20 minutes and spray the sheet continuously. Then flip the chicken and bake the other side for about 10 minutes.

    When the breadcrumbs turn red the chicken is done.

 Step 6: Making Hot Honey

 Take a pan and put it over medium heat. Add the jalapenos, olive oil, garlic, and butter and cook until the jalapeno turn soft. Also, stir constantly. Cook it for about 4 to 5 minutes.

       Now add the paprika, salt, and cayenne and cook it for 1 minute. Then add the honey and vinegar. Then remove from the heat. Set it aside for 5 minutes.

Step 7: Coating the chicken with the honey

  Before coating, the chicken with the hot honey remove it from the oven and cool for about 5 minutes. you can put the leftover chicken in the fridge for about 4 to 5 days.
