PREPARATION OF BROWN BUTTER SKILLET CORNBREAD
Step 1
Step one is to heat the oven and melt the butter over medium heat. On a swirling pan coat lightly the sides and bottom till the butter turn brown. Be careful not to burn the butter. The first step is done.
Step 2
Now take this brown butter in a bowl. Add the buttermilk and maple syrup to it and mix it well. Cool this mixture before adding the eggs. After this add the baking soda, salt, baking powder, and cornmeal. The second step is done.
Step 3
Heat the skillet lightly and scrape butter back into it. Bake it for 30 to 4o minutes until the top is turn golden brown. Before slicing cool it in the skillet for 10 to 15 minutes.
