Today we will discuss the classic chicken provencal recipe. The ingredients for the recipe are as follow chicken, black pepper, olive oil, salt, herbs de Provence, shallots, garlic, tomatoes, green olives, lemon, capers, sprigs thyme, white wine, rice.

Steps to make the classic chicken provencal

Step 1: Preheat the oven up to 380F.

Step 2: Sauté & season the chicken

Take the chicken thighs and season well with salt and pepper. Then take a skillet and add the olive oil to it. Sauté the chicken on low medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes until the chicken turns brown.

Step 3: Add the remaining ingredients

 When the chicken thighs are brown flip it aside and add the garlic, herbs de Provence, cherry tomatoes, green olive, lemon wedges, capers, and thyme springs. Also, add white wine to it.


Step 4: Braise chicken in the oven

For an hour place, the chicken is uncovered in the oven until the chicken is opaque all the way through.

Step 5: Serve

Remove the chicken from the oven and serve with the rice.
